The Rheinsberg Private Brewery
The brewer Horst Mücke has created a new quality beer which was given the name Rheinsberg Kronprinzen Pils in 1994 by Prince Louis Ferdinand of Prussia. This was in honour of his ancestor Frederick the Great (1712-1786), who spent what he himself referred to as the happiest years of his life in Rheinsberg. During this time he learnt the trade of brewer on the orders of his father.
